Susan Van Zaig founded Van Zaig Gallery in Palm Desert to leverage the power of her work and the work of other female artists to support Women for Women International, an organization that supports women survivors of war and conflict.

Of all humanities self-destructions: inequity, conflict, disasters, climate change, greed, etc, the most egregious is our complete disregard for the fact that children make up 50% of the people on the United Nation’s Global Multidimensional Poverty Index (July 11, 2023).

Van Zaig wants her work to become synonymous with supporting women and children.
